1958 "Greatest Game Ever Played" Ticket Stub
Alan Ameche's touchdown in overtime of the 1958 NFL Championship Game propelled the Baltimore Colts to a 23-17 win over the New York Giants in what has come to be known as "The Greatest Game Ever Played." This ticket stub from the contest played on December 28, 1958 in Yankee Stadium is encased in a plastic container and is in VG-EX condition. The game was broadcast nationally and viewed by approximately 45 million people - in addition to the 64,000 in attendance - and is widely credited with being the starting point for the NFL's popularity surge.
