1958 Jim Brown Carling Black Label Beer Premium Photograph
"Make sure when anyone tackles you, he remembers how much it hurts," said Pro Football Hall of Fame fullback Jim Brown. Yes, Brown was tough, and he liked to punish tacklers. It worked for him, as he led the NFL in rushing for eight of his nine years in the NFL. He was a 3-time AP Pro Football MVP. He played his entire NFL career, 1957-65, with the Cleveland Browns. In 1958, the year the offered black and white photo was taken, Brown led the NFL with 1,627 yards rushing and he led in rushing touchdowns, with 17, and Brown won his second straight AP MVP. In college at Syracuse University, Brown was an All-American in both football and lacrosse, and he is a college Hall of Famer in both football and lacrosse. Brown finished his NFL career with 12,312 yards rushing and 106 touchdowns. After his playing career, Brown became a movie actor. The offered premium photo measures 8.5x11", and the bottom of the photo reads "Premium Quality/Carling Black Label Beer and The Cleveland Browns." The photo is in excellent condition, and it depicts a young icon in only his second pro season.
