1958 New York Yankees Welcome Home Dinner Poster & New Haven Train Broadside
For over half a century, baseball teams have received Welcome Home Dinners upon arriving back in town after Spring Training. This poster comes from the Yankees' dinner that kick-started the 1958 season that would culminate in the franchise's 18th World Series trophy. It invites folks to attend a dinner and meet the team, thanks in part to sponsor Ballantine Ale. The poster grades EX-MT and comes with a Yankees weekends broadside advertising train ticket and 1955 lodging packages, plus postcard, which rates NRMT. The whole framed display measures roughly 25" x 29.5".
