1958 Raymond Berry Colts NFL Championship Plaque
Stunning, brass-casted plaque given to legendary wide receiver Raymond Berry as a member of the 1958 NFL champion Baltimore Colts is one of the more esoteric and certainly most lovely pieces of memorabilia resulting from "the greatest game ever played." Presented to all the players on the team by owner Carroll Rosenbloom, the thick, 6" in diameter brass casting has a raised molding of a player in a helmet with the Colts' horseshoe surrounded by engraved laurel leaves and the words "Baltimore Colts 1958 World Football Champions, For Outstanding Teamwork." Casting is mounted on an 8 x 10" wood base smoothly finished with a coating of black paint above a gold plaque reading "Presented to Raymond Berry." Piece is EX+ and came directly from the Hall of Famer himself.
