1958 Willie Mays First Ever Game As "San Francisco" Giant Photograph
Remarkable 7.5x12" image shows Willie in exhibition of the Say Hey Kid at bat versus the Chicago Cubs. As revealed by the newspaper tag in back, the image is remarkable not just for its quality but for the fact that Mays went 0-for-3 in the game. Type 1 Photo was used in the San Francisco Examiner with stamp on back dated March 12, 1958.
