1958 Yogi Berra Game Used and Signed Bat - Gifted Directly by Berra (PSA GU 8.5)
This lot contains a Yogi Berra game used model R43 Hillerich & Bradsby bat, which the affable catcher used as a NY Yankee in 1958. It's signed in marker by Berra above the barrel nameplate, and displays outstanding use with a handle crack. There are also visible ball marks on all sides of the barrel, cleat marks on the right barrel and green/red bat rack streaks. This bat was gifted directly from Berra to our consignor during the Yankees 1958 Spring Training. It measures 35 inches, weighs 34 oz, R43 model number stamped on the knob, and the bat is somewhat fragile with the heavy crack in the handle. Comes with PSA GU 8.5 LOA.
