1959-60 National Champion Syracuse Orange Cotton Bowl Gold Charm Bracelet & Watch Presented to Team Captain Dave Appelhof (Appelhof LOA)
From the Syracuse football team that won the 1959 National Championship with a perfect 11-0 record, this gold bracelet comes with two gold charms. 1) 1959-60 Cotton Bowl National Champion 10k gold charm. 2) 1958 Syracuse Football 10k gold charm. The Cotton bowl charm is engraved "D.A.A", other "D.A" for Dave Appelhof, a center, linebacker and long-snapper on that '59 squad. Both are stamped "10k LGB." Also included is a 1960 Cotton Bowl watch indicating, "National Football Champions, Cotton Bowl Champions, Syracuse University, Founded A.D 1870, 1959, 1960." Sourced directly from Team Captain Appelhof, the lot includes an Appelhof LOA describing the items and their provenance.
