1959-60 Oscar Robertson University of Cincinnati Basketball MVP Award
Oscar Robertson was one of the most dominant college basketball players of all time, so much so that the USBWA renamed its College Player of the Year award after him. In three years at Cincinnati, he won the national scoring title, was named an All-American, and was chosen College Player of the Year. Naturally, in his final year playing for the Bearcats, he was also the team's MVP for the 1959-60 season. This award presented by the university is in the form of a gorgeous silver-plated serving tray. In the center is engraved "U. of CINCINNATI MOST VALUABLE BASKETBALL PLAYER 1959-60." It is in EX condition. Robertson left school as the NCAA's all-time scoring leader, but his record was broken in 1970 by Pete Maravich.
