1972 Oscar Robertson NBA All-Star Game Ring
The 1972 NBA All-Star Game represented something of a passing of the torch as it was the first for future Hall of Famers Dave Cowens and Bob Lanier, but the last of 12 appearances by Oscar Robertson. The Big O scored 11 points in that affair, played at the Forum in Inglewood, California, with the West's two-point victory fittingly decided on Jerry West's last-second jumper. This size 13 ring is in NM condition with a beautiful purple stone front-and-center, a star on one shank, and "NBA" on the other. The inside is stamped 14k and engraved inside is "Los Angeles 1972" and also "O" - for Oscar, one of the very few people in the world who can be identified with just a single letter of the alphabet.
