1959 Boston Celtics Team Photograph (PSA Type I)
Original Type I photograph capturing six members of the 1959 World Champion Boston Celtics: Bob Cousy, Bill Russell, Tommy Heinsohn, Jim Loscutoff, Bill Sharman, and Frank Ramsey. Each player is pictured in uniform as he kneels while holding a basketball. As noted by a cut newspaper clipping affixed to the reverse, this photo was taken prior to the start of the NBA Eastern Division Finals against the Syracuse Nationals. That information, as well as the date "March 17, 1959," also appears in a number of notations on the reverse, each written in pencil. Also present on the reverse are a "Mar 18, 1959" and "June 24, 1960" date stamp, as well as a Boston Herald credit stamp. The photo (9x6") has been slightly trimmed to its current dimensions and is otherwise in Very Good condition, with a few light creases. PSA encapsulated as Type I Authentic.
