1959 Carmen Basilio vs. Gene Fullmer On-Site Fight Poster
This fight was named 1959 Ring Magazine's "Fight of the Year". The middleweight title had been pulled from Sugar Ray Robinson because of inactivity. This framed red, yellow, black, and white cardboard poster measures 30x30". It is in nice shape except for three horizontal creases created from folding it. The poster reads, "San Francisco Boxing Club, Inc. & Norman Rothschild Present World's NBA Middleweight Championship, Cow Palace, Friday, Aug. 28, 7 P.M., Carmen Basilio, Gene Fullmer". Basilio lost to Fullmer by TKO in round 14 of 15.
