1959 Cassius Clay Golden Gloves Ticket & Passes (3)
From March 4-25, 1959, Cassius Clay competed in the Chicago Tournament Of Champions Golden Gloves Tournament, which he eventually won. We offer three original ticket stubs to different events from this tournament, including the finals. First is the opening round and quarter finals on March 4, in which Clay defeated Willie McMillan and Cliff Murkey to advance. Stub is graded a VG-3 by PSA/DNA. Second is the March 11 stub for Clay's semi win over Jeff Davis. Graded EX-5 by PSA/DNA. Last is the stub for the March 25 final, a 3-round win over Tony Madigan. Graded EX-MT-6 by PSA/DNA. A very difficult to find collection from an important tournament in the budding career of Cassius Clay.
