1959 Floyd Patterson by Robert Riger
Possess this powerful Floyd Patterson illustration by the famed Robert Riger, for years famous for his photographs in Sports Illustrated and his illustrations and varied work for magazines such as Esquire and The Saturday Evening Post. Patterson was twice the World Heavyweight Champion and fought from 1952 until 1972. Despite his powerful ring presence, Patterson was a rather shy and sensitive soul, and this juxtaposed combination is wonderfully captured in Riger's piece.
