1959 Harlem Globetrotters Poster with Wilt Chamberlain (41x28")
Offered is one of the rarest Harlem Globetrotters posters in existence. This oversized poster measures 41 x 28”. We know it was created during the 1959 season because it was the only year the young Wilt Chamberlain would suit up for the Globetrotters before making his NBA debut the following year. Original site poster advertises Wilt the Stilt as “Basketball’s No. 1 Show” and the Globetrotters appearance at the “Hippodrome, Waterloo, Iowa”, on, “Tues. Jan. 6”. Color is vivid and would look outstanding framed. Minor wear along top edge of poster. Grades EX to EX-MT.
