1959 Marilyn Monroe Calendar

1959 Marilyn Monroe Calendar

Just before she caught her big break, the legendary Marilyn Monroe posed nude for photographer Tom Kelley in 1949 for just $50 and three years later, two topless images adorned calendars that were hung all over America. This was one of the shots, entitled "Golden Dreams." Deemed scandalous at the time, Monroe's studio denied she was the girl in the photos, a strategy Marilyn regretted, admitting she was broke and needed the money. This 1959 calendar - with advertisement for the John D. Kline plumbing and heating company of Shartlesville, PA - measures 10" x 16.5" and has all of its monthly pages intact.
