1959 New Indian Beer Advertising Life-Sized Poster
Fantastic, life-sized advertisement for the new India beer done by well-known Puerto Rican artist Juan Rosado. The sign features earthy tones with a smiling woman in Native American garb holding a tray of beer and "Lupulo Aleman," Spanish for German hops. The background shows a man in a headdress beating on a drum and a naked woman with beer in hand. The painting is oil on masonite board and measures 26x47" in original wood frame. It is signed by the artist "Rosado P.R. 9- 59" in the bottom left corner.
