A beautiful representation of perhaps the most legendary golf course in the world, this circa 1959 poster by British Railways depicts Scotland's St. Andrews Links. Part of a series of posters of various landmarks, this image has been heavily reproduced, though this is the real thing. Fresh to the hobby and discovered among other non-golf British Railway posters, this beauty measures 40"x25" on heavy paper stock and displays stark, colorful images. The wording across the bottom reads, "ST. ANDREWS, GUIDE FREE FROM TOWN CLERK, ST. ANDREWS, FIFE." A well-preserved and beautiful specimen.
