1960-61 Detroit Pistons Team Signed Photo
They're NBA champs today, but in the early '60s they were also-rans in the shadow of the Boston Celtics. Still, the Pistons faced life with a smile, at least in this great team signed 8x10 from the '60-61 season when they went 34-45 and lost in the playoffs to the Lakers. Those signing above or below their images include coach Dick McGuire, future NBA coach Gene Shue and NBA exec Bob Ferry, Bailey Howell, Walter Dukes, Ray Scott, Don Ohl, George Lee, Willie Jones, Jackie Moreland, Chuck Noble, etc. Signatures in blue or black ink average 7 to 8 out of a possible 10. NRMT photo comes with original envelope it was mailed in that year from the Pistons' Olympia Stadium office.
