1960-76 Topps and Fleer Complete Sets and Large Subsets Collection (1850+ cards!)

While there were various “specials” cards in the 1950s, most were two or more players in or around the dugout like the 1957 Topps #407 Power Hitters card of Mickey Mantle and Yogi Berra. However, beginning in 1960 Topps began issuing team cards and other “specials” and multi-player cards ensued throughout the decade. In addition, Topps began to issue special subset cards inserted into various series and packs of cards. Some examples are 1968 Topps Game cards and 1969 Deckle Edges. This collection contains a vast array of these Topps special subsets and inserts, with a couple of high Grade 1960s Fleer to boot. There is a ton of value here. Includes: TOPPS INSERTS – 1) 1968 Topps Game: complete set of 33 with 2 Mantle (EX/MT). Grades EX/MT to NM/MT. 2) 1969 Topps Deckle: complete set of 35 cards with Foy and Wynn variations. Grades EX to EX/MT with some lesser and better, with the usual Deckle issues. 3) 1969 Decals: complete set of 48 with Aaron (EX/MT), Clemente (EX/MT), Jackson (EX/MT), Mantle (NM), Mays (EX/MT), Rose (NM), Seaver (EX/MT) and Yaz (EX/MT). Grades EX/MT to NM. 4) 1970 Topps Scratch Offs: complete set of 24, very nice EX/MT to NM/MT. 5) 1970 Topps Booklets: THREE complete sets of 24 with Reggie, Rose and Mays. All EX to NM with some NM/MT examples. 6) 1970 Posters: complete set of 24. Grades VG to EX/MT, a couple lesser. 7) 1971 Topps Coins: complete set of 153 coins w/#58 Yaz (EX/MT), 71 Clemente (NM), 101 Rose (EX/MT), 108 Jackson (EX), 137 Aaron (NM) and 153 Mays (NM/MT). Grades mostly EX to NM with some NM/MT examples. Each coin is housed in its own protective coin sleeve. 8) 1971 Topps Scratch-offs: complete set of 24, very nice EX/MT to NM/MT. FLEER – 1) 1960: complete set of 79 cards w/# 2 Mathewson (NM), 3 Ruth (NM/MT), 6 Johnson (NM), 28 Gehrig (NM/MT), 42 Cobb (NM), 47 Young (NM/MT), 53 Foxx (NM), 62 Wagner (EX/MT) and 72 Williams (NM+). Grades NM to NM/MT with a few lesser. 1961-62: complete set of 154 w/#1 Cobb CL (NM. snow), 14 Cobb (NM, snow), 28 Foxx (NM), 31 Gehrig (EX/MT), 49 Johnson (NM), 59 Mathewson (EX), 75 Ruth (NM/MT), 89 CL (EX/MT+), 150 Wagner (GD) and 152 Williams (EX/MT). TOPPS – 1) 967 Red Sox Sticker set: complete set of 33 with Yaz, Tony C. etc. Grades EX to NM, with some lesser. 2) 1972 Traded set – complete six card hi # subset w/#751 Carlton (NM/MT), 752 Morgan (NM) and 754 F. Robinson (NM/MT). 3) 1973 Blue Checklists – TWO complete sets of 24 teams. Grades EX to NM, a few lesser. 4) 1974 Red Checklists – THREE complete sets of 24 teams. Grades mostly NM to NM/MT, a few lesser. 5) 1974 Washington Nat’l League – complete set of 15 cards w/#250 McCovey (NM). EX/MT to NM/MT. 6) 1975 MVP subset – FIFTEEN (15) complete MVP subsets (24 cards #’s 189-212) from the 1975 Topps set, all NM to NM/MT with some lesser here and there. Three Mantle cards in each. 7) 1975 Mini MVP subset – ONE complete MVP subset (#’s 189-212) from the 1975 Topps set, all NM to NM/MT with some lesser. Three Mantle cards. TEAM CARDS (Most years are sharp & grade NM to NM/MT unless noted) – 1960: 16 cards w/Pirates (TRIMMED), Yankees (NM). 1961: 15 cards w/Yankees (EX), Twins (NM), Pirates (EX/MT). 1962: 15 cards w/Cubs (NM), Yankees (NM+), Indians (NM), Twins (EX/MT+). 1963: 20 cards w/Mets (EX), Tigers (NM), Yankees (EX/MT). 1964: 19 cards w/Yankees (NM). 1965: 19 cards w/Yankees (NM), Mets (NM). 1966: 20 cards w/Twins (NM) and Tigers (EX/MT). 1967: 19 cards w/#604 Red Sox (EX/MT). 1968: 14 cards w/Tigers (EX/MT+). 1970: 23 cards w/#1 Mets (EX/MT+) and 712 Pilots (EX/MT). 1971: SEVEN 24 card team sets, all EX/MT to NMMT. 1972: 24 cards, NM to NM/MT. 1973-1976: ONE complete team set run including a 1975 Mini run. NM to NM/MT. CHECKLISTS – ONE complete TOPPS checklist run from 1961 through 1978 (with 2 1962 , 3 1972, 2 1975 and 4 1975 Mini runs) including all variations, totaling 204 cards, all grading NM to NM/MT with many MINT cards. Lots of tough variations in this group. Plus, a bunch of Fleer and Donruss checklist runs.
