1960 Clem Labine and Others Pittsburgh Pirates Game Worn Jersey

1960 Clem Labine and Others Pittsburgh Pirates Game Worn Jersey

Classic 1960 Pittsburgh Pirates jersey donned by Clem Labine, among others. Two things are certain - this was worn during the 1960 Pirates World Championship season and it is all original. Beautiful cream-colored, flannel vest-style top is in superb condition with only a couple of small holes evident. Button front top has "29" and "60" sewn on the front tail and washing instructions and Set 1 1960 tags inside front tail. PIRATES in individual letters sewn across the chest, all original number 29 on back in black-on-yellow felt; 29 was worn by three players during the 1960 season and they are all pretty big guys - all pitchers and 6 feet or taller - Clem Labine, Earl Francis, and Bernie Daniels. Odds are that there were only two number 29 home jerseys during 1960 so it is possible that all three wore this jersey. Shows nice use and in fine condition.
