1960 Pittsburgh Pirates World Series Ring

1960 Pittsburgh Pirates World Series Ring

Gorgeous 14 karat gold by Jostens was originally a charm presented to an employee of the 1960 World Champion Pittsburgh Pirates front office. The employee later had the charm made into this shining gold ring, commemorating the most memorable season in the history of the franchise. Forbes Field was the site of the most dramatic home run in World Series history, hit by Pirate hero, Bill Mazeroski in Game 7 to give Pittsburgh its first World Championship since 1925. Top of ring cubic zirconium within a miniature model of Forbes Field and the surrounding words, “Pittsburgh, World Champions” in raised lettering. Size 10. NRMT condition.
