1960 Rocky Nelson Pittsburgh Pirates Wives Championship Ring
Just like the 1960 Pirates men's World Championship ring but a bit smaller, the wives of the players received rings also but in a ladies' version. This one was awarded to first baseman Rocky Nelson's wife and has "A. NELSON" on one side & "Pirates 1960" the other shank. The face reads "Pittsburgh World Champions," Josten 14K marked inside, with small diamond on top. Pittsburgh earned the franchise's first National League title in 33 years before edging the New York Yankees in an epic 7-game World Series. NRMT condition. Size 8, 12.3g.
