1960 Sonny Liston Vs. Roy Harris Program
On April 25,1960, Sonny Liston met Roy Harris in an important heavyweight bout. The fight took place in Harris' backyard at the Sam Houton Coliseum in Houston, Texas but the home crowd didn't help him. Liston knocked Harris down three times before stopping him in the 1st round. Offered here is a scarce official program for this event. This program pictures both fighters on the cover. Six pages complete with scorecard, not scored. Creased, tight binding, with minor cover soiling. Measures 9.25x 12", a seldom seen pre-championship program of Sonny Liston.
