1960 Ted Williams Game Used Bat
Ted Williams had a long and storied career in baseball. He was a two-time American League MVP, led the league in batting six times and won the Triple Crown twice. A 19-time All-Star, he was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1966. This bat was from his final year as a player. Williams ended his career dramatically, hitting a home run in his very last at-bat on September 28, 1960. This Hillerich & Bradsby model W215 matches factory ordering records and is 35" and 32 oz. It shows heavy use with ball marks on the barrel and some compressed wood. The handle is cracked and has been repaired with small nails. There was some tape that held the crack in place but it has been removed. This is a great game-used bat from one of the best hitters of all time.
