1960 Ted Williams Retirement Gift from B.B.W.A.A.
Pair of cufflinks and a tie bar bearing the logo of the Baseball Writers' Association of America were a gift to baseball's greatest hitter upon his retirement. Tie bar is monogrammed "T.W." to the left of the "B.B.W.A.A." logo, while the cufflinks are monogrammed on the back. They weren't the casual Kid's style though, and he gave them to a friend instead. We acquired the elegant set, still affixed to the original card, from her, along with a personalized and signed photograph (10/10) from Williams to her.
