1960 "World Champion" Pittsburgh Pirates Rocky Nelson Game Worn Jersey & Glove
From the magical Pirates 1960 season comes this amazingly original Rocky Wilson game worn uniform. Gray uniform is trimmed in yellow and black and is a matched pair. Jersey features MacGregor size 42 tag in the collar with "Set 1 1960" flag on the inside front tail along with a vintage dry cleaning tag stapled in place. Flannel vest reads, "Pirates" across the front with "14" on the back. Matching MacGregor pants have a size 36 manufacturers tag in the waistband with "Set 1 1960" and felt embroidered swatch that reads, "14-35-25." Dry cleaning tag found in fly matches the one noticed on the jersey. Uniform comes from the former Ohio Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum and is accompanied by Nelson's game used Rawlings CMH first baseman's glove. The entire ensemble was donated to the museum by Nelson himself and is now fresh to market.
