1960 World Champion Pittsburgh Pirates Souvenir Fan

1960 World Champion Pittsburgh Pirates Souvenir Fan

On the surface, this 11" long baseball bat-shaped plastic souvenir heralds the Pittsburgh Pirates as 1960 World Champions. When opened, however, it cleverly unfolds into a fan, with each slat bearing a photo of a member of that squad. Depicted are the likes of Dick Schofield, Smoky Burgess, Bill Mazeroski, Dick Groat and many more. Each slat bears one character spelling out "WORLD 1960 CHAMPS" with photos on front and back, though the "O" in "WORLD" is missing. Still, this fun piece is in EX condition, commemorating a squad that topped the Yankees in a seven-game World Series.
