1960 World Series Game 7 Full Ticket

1960 World Series Game 7 Full Ticket

Bill Mazeroski brought the 1960 World Series to a memorable conclusion with a walkoff home run in Game 7 on October 13 at Forbes Field. Ticket stubs from this historic game can be found without great difficulty but full tickets are nearly impossible and this unused ticket has been encapsulated by PSA and graded Good, though we think this grade was overly harsh as the ticket appears EX-MT. There are hints of wear at the edges, and upon close inspection there are a few creases, none of which break the paper on the front. Over 36,000 fans watched as the Yankees, who won Game 6 in a 12-0 rout, turned an early 4-0 deficit into a 7-4 lead into the eighth inning. The Pirates plated five in the eighth to grab a 9-7 advantage, only to see the Bronx Bombers rally to tie in the visiting ninth, setting the stage for Mazeroski's heroics.
