1960’s Bobby Hull Game Used Banana Hook Northland Stick
The Golden Jet sent many young netminders scurrying back to the safety of the minors with his ear-clipping wrist shot. This mid-Sixties Northland Custom Pro features the pronounced curve that launched those armor-piercing projectiles. Stamping along the shaft includes “B.Hull” and “Gunzos Sports Centre, Berwyn ILL”. The stick has been signed twice by Bobby. The knob is done in vintage black “bulldog” while more of the heavy black tape wraps the hooked blade. The lack of a notch at the handle dates this stick back prior to the 1968 auto accident that left Bobby with diminished use of his hand. A rare twig from Bobby’s early Hawks days. In perfect condition.
