1960s Cuban Refugee Wire Photos (85)

1960s Cuban Refugee Wire Photos (85)

In 1965 Castro opened the door to Cubans who wanted to leave the island and thousands did. These (85) wire photos capture the countless waves of Cuban immigrants as they came into the US by plane, ship and homemade rafts, desperate to flee Castro's regime. Also in this group are wire photo accounts of 1964 protests by Cuban immigrants in support of sanctions against Cuba. The vast majority of this lot is front captioned wire photos. They are sized from 7x10 to 8x10. A few are VG but overall these quality wire photos are NM/MT.
