1960s Olympia Stadium Detroit Red Wings Ice Cream Vendor
Wonderful vintage concession item from the "Old Red Barn," where the Detroit Red Wings skated from 1927-79. Stainless steel ice cream container insured the coldness of Wesley's Ice Cream, a longtime Wings sponsor. The wrap features red and blue lettering with the message: "WESLEY'S ICE CREAM BAR OR SANDWICH $1.20." Original seatbelt-style nylon strap still attached, and flip-top still functional. Obtained from an old time Red Wings collector.
