1961-62 Mickey Mantle Game Used H&B Bat
Here's a chance to own a game used bat from the biggest fan favorite of all New York baseball in the 60's. He remains revered to this day along with Ruth, Gehrig and DiMaggio. This is a game used Hillerich and Bradsby model B220, the model that Mantle used from 1961 through 1962, the absolute prime of Mick's career and when he ruled Yankee Stadium. Bat is 35 inches long and weighs in at 34 ounces. An outstanding looking piece of lumber that has light but definite use and is uncracked. It's a beautiful looking bat with great definition and deep stampings. You gotta know what a special item this is, as in 1961 Mantle hit 54 bombs batting behind Roger Maris, and in 1962, he was named AL MVP for the third time in his career. LOA from former Yankee player who was gifted the bat by Mickey.
