1961-62 Ohio State Team Signed Basketball with John Havlichek
With a roster fortified with future Hall of Famers Jerry Lucas and John Havlicek, and guided by national Coach of the Year Fred Taylor, the Ohio State Buckeyes basketball team compiled a 26-2 record, captured the Big 10 title and lost the national championship game to in-state rival Cincinnati... their second straight second-place finish after winning the title in 1960. This rare, team-signed basketball is a Rawlings Herculite model and contains the signatures of Taylor, Havlichek, Lucas and Bob Knight, plus 13 others for a total signature count of 17. The signatures in black marker rate 7-8/10 and the ball is in NRMT condition.
