1961 Ernie Davis Autographed Syracuse Football Program
The first African-American to ever win the Heisman, Davis had potential to be a great NFL player. Tragically, he never got to play a down after developing Luekemia. He died in 1963. Davis has signed this October 28, 1961 Holy Cross vs. Syracuse program in Mint blue ink on the front cover. The cover has also been signed by John Brown while the inside features signatures of John Mackey, and others. Light wear on the cover otherwise EX.
