Group of six photos taken of Mickey Mantle between September and October of that magical season of '61. Most date from the days prior to the World Series when Mantle was recovering from hip surgery but one particularly good shot shows Mick pointing his finger and staring down Jim Bunning after he claimed Detroit's pitcher had been throwing at him. Wire photo's with press stampings on the versos and front captions. EX-EX-MT overall. All measure 8 x 10".
