1961 New York Yankee Team Signed Ron Lewis Poster with Mantle, Maris and Howard
The Yankees easily take the prize as the winningest team in major league baseball, having brought home a full twenty-six World Series championships in their long and storied history. This piece is a print of a painting by Ron Lewis depicting the 1961 Yankees, and comes with thirty-two (32) signatures in blue sharpie from that World Series-winning team, as well as two 3 x 5” signatures in blue pen mounted below. At the top of the 20 x 35" print, framed to 31 x 42.5”, the phrase "1961 WORLD CHAMPIONS" is printed in large block lettering. Beneath this, the team poses for a group shot with a Yankees logo on the ground before them. The team has signatures from the likes of Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra and Moose Skowron over their likenesses, while at the bottom there are two 3 x 5” signatures of Roger Maris and Elston Howard, respectively. Additionally, the print has been signed by the artist. LOA included.
