1962 Cassius Clay vs. Archie Moore On-Site Fight Poster

Cassius Clay fought Archie Moore on November 15, 1962, in Los Angeles, California, at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena. The brash Clay knocked Moore out in the 4th round. In the days before the fight, Clay had rhymed that "Archie Moore...Must fall in four." Moore replied that he had perfected a new punch for the match: The Lip-Buttoner. Nonetheless, as Clay predicted Moore was beaten by a knockout in four rounds. Offered here is a very rare original on site poster for this event which was originally scheduled for October 23rd at the Los Angeles Coliseum. Both fighters are shown in bold color and print with clear images. Not creased, but has small closed tears at lower left and center left border. Generally clean with minor edge wear, No tack holes. Measures 13 1/4" x 21 1/4." Exceptionally rare and early Cassius Clay on site poster.
