1962 Detroit Tigers Tour of Japan Presentational Photo Album
Elegant orange and gold, silk-covered photo album contains a team photo of the formally dressed Tigers team on the inner cover with print roster on opposite side. Various publicity and tour photos included with captions, including players and their wives attending exhibition games and sampling Japanese culture. Among the notable team members: Al Kaline, Vic Wertz, Norm Cash, Jim Bunning and Ford Frick. External box has the words "IN COMMEMORATION OF DETROIT TIGERS' JAPAN TOUR 1962, THE MAINICHI NEWSPAPERS, TOKYO, JAPAN" engraved in gold print. Photos and album are EX while outer box is VG.
