1962 Elston Howard Game Used New York Yankee Home Uniform Ex Halper
Worn during what could arguably be considered Elston Howard’s greatest years, as this versatile New York Yankee was a 4th-time World Champion in ’62 (jersey’s date) and the American League MVP in ’63 (pants’ date). This soft flannel beauty has some indecipherable writing in collar below “Howard” strip tag. Tail is decorated with frayed Spalding tag, red size 44 tag, and year “62” sewn in to jersey’s fabric. Inside tail has washing instructions and “Set 1 1962” flag tag. Pants have “Howard 32 36 63” strip tag in back waist, while front waist has faded “63 32 36” in black marker, Spalding brand tag, “Set 1 1963” flag tag, and washing instructions.
