1962 Emile Griffith vs. Denny Moyer On-Site Fight Poster
On August 18, 1962 at the Sports Arena in Tacoma, Washington, World Welterweight Champion Emile Griffith, fighting as a middleweight, moved up to take on tough Denny Moyer. Griffith stood up and won a hard-fought, 10-round split decision. Offered here is an original, on-site poster to the event which pictures the fighters and includes a vintage signature of Griffith in ink. The paper poster has been professionally linen backed and exhibits some edge chipping. Bold color and sharp images. 22" x 28". Rare signed poster of a great Hall Of Fame fighter.
