1962 JFK Pill Box and More from his Summer Retreat (3)
Though he was tragically gunned down midway through his term in office, John F. Kennedy remains one of the most revered presidents in the history of our nation. This pill box and two pins were used by JFK at his summer retreat, Hammersmith Farm, in Newport, Rhode Island. The estate was also the childhood home of Kennedy's wife, Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy, and played host to the couple's wedding reception in 1953. This is a truly unique offering from one of the most famous and influential men of the 20th century.
