1962 San Francisco Giants Whitey Lockman Home Jersey
Here is a fine San Francisco Giants jersey from 1962 from Whitey Lockman's days as third base coach. A Wilson manufacturer tag with the "44" (size) is sewn to the front tail. Below it, is a strip tag with the year. All original tags on the jersey including the "8" on the back. There is some piping loss on the collar. Lockman will forever be remembered for his decision to stop tying-run Matty Alou at third in the ninth inning of Game 7 of the 1962 World Series.
