1962 Topps Jim Bunning #460 Hoarder Lot of 11
Jim Bunning won 224 games and made the Hall of Fame. His career was mostly with the Detroit Tigers and the Philadelphia Phillies, but many people forget that he spent more years as a Senator than he did as a Tiger or Phil. Yes, he was a Senator for 8 years, the United States Senate, representing Kentucky. But before he entered politics, Bunning perfected pitching. Really perfected it, as on Father's Day in 1964, as a Phillie, he threw a perfect game against the New York Mets. Nice color and clarity. Fine centering. Overall NM.
