1963 Hall of Fame Statue Collection in Boxes (9)

1963 Hall of Fame Statue Collection in Boxes (9)

In 1963, the Baseball Hall of Fame commissioned a Long-Island based company (Sports Hall of Fame Inc.) to make miniature replicas of 20 of the existing Hall of Fame busts. These nine statuettes feature "Baseball's Immortal All Time Major League Stars" and are "Sculptured Statuettes of Players in the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum at Cooperstown." The busts were to be sold at Cooperstown and Major League stadiums. The nine busts here, mostly with original boxes, include: Babe Ruth (two - one in box), Honus Wagner (two - one in box), Ty Cobb, Walter Johnson (in box), Pie Traynor (in box), Rogers Hornsby (in box) and Lou Gehrig (in box). They display beautifully and are in EX condition.
