1964-67 Philadelphia Football Card Collection
Large collection of the 1960s Philadelphia run of four sets, all NFL players which include many HOFer rookie cards, headlined by Gale Sayers, also with multiple examples of cards from Jim Brown, Johnny Unitas, Frank Gifford and Bart Starr. Loaded lot with many other stars/HOFers not listed, and a few partial sets. Grading for each year is commensurate with the stars listed below, with about 20-25% of the cards (unless noted) having some ink writing on the reverse. Includes: 1964 – 220+ cards (48 short of a complete set) w/#12 Unitas (3, all EX), 17 Ditka (VG/EX), 30 Brown (4, 2 EX, 1 VG & 1 - ink), 51 Meredith (3, VG/EX to EX), 71 Adderly (2, both VG/EX, one w/ink), 72 Davis (2, both EX), 74 Hornung (EX), 79 Starr (VG, ink), 91 Olsen (2, 1 EX & 1 VG), 109 Tarkenton (FR, ink), 117 Gifford (FR, ink), 186 Jurgenson (2, both EX/MT) and 189 Mitchell (3). 1965 – 396 cards (18 short of a complete set) w/#12 Unitas (2, both GD), 19 Ditka (VG), 31 Brown (PR), 41 Warfield RC (EX, ink), RC (3), 50 Meredith (3), 53 Renfro, 76 Hornung (6, 3 EX, 2 VG/EX & 1 FR), 105 Eller RC (2, both FR), 189 Krause RC (EX), 195 Taylor RC (4, 2 EX, 1 VG/EX & 1 GD/VG). 1966 - 177 cards w/#24 Unitas (EX), 32 Ditka (EX), 38 Sayers RC (GD/VG, ink), 41 Brown (EX, ink), 58 Hayes RC (VG), 88 Starr (VG, ink) and 194 Taylor (2). 1967 – 219 cards (21 cards short of a complete set) w/#23 Unitas (2, both VG/EX - 1 w/ink), 28 Butkus (2, 1 EX/MT & 1 EX - ink), 29 Ditka (EX, ink), 43 Kelly (EX, ink), 46 Warfield, 54 Jordan (EX), 57 Meredith (EX, ink), 58 Reeves (EX, ink), 106 Tarkenton (EX, ink), 123 Hornung (EX, ink), 197 CL (MARKED). The 1967s have approx. 50% of the cards with ink writing on the reverse, primarily "ownership" information.
