1964 Bob Gibson Signed Player's Contract

1964 Bob Gibson Signed Player's Contract

National League Uniform Player's contract was issued to and signed by Bob Gibson prior to the start of the Cardinals 1964 season. Dated March 11th of that year, it calls for the hurler to be paid $26,000 for a his services. Money well spent if you ask any Redbird fan as the team would go on to defeat the Yankees for the World Championship a few months later. Gibson's signature on the third page is executed in blue ballpoint and grades a 9.5/10, while the document grades EX-MT having only its original mailing folds.
