1964 Cassius Clay vs. Sonny Liston I On-Site Fight Program from The Stanley Weston Collection (LOA)
On February 25, 1964, in Miami Beach, Florida, World Heavyweight Champion Sonny Liston defended his title against undefeated upstart challenger Cassius Clay. Clay was a decided underdog going into the fight, but his youth and speed prevailed leading to Liston retiring on his stool in the fight which "shook the world." Presented here is the official program from this event. Sourcing from famed The Stanley Weston Collection, this sought after program pictures both fighters on the cover and consists of 12 pages with biographies of both. In EX condition overall, the program has not been scored with only a common center crease and some handwriting on the cover noticed. Comes with Stanley Weston LOA.
