1964 Frank Robinson Game Used Bat
This Hillerich and Bradsby, model R143 (stamped in the knob) is 35" long and weighs 33 oz. It was used by outfielder Frank Robinson in 1964 towards the end of his time with the Reds, before he switched to play for the Orioles. The wood has knots in it, corresponding to a certain order that Frank had made in 1964. The knob of the bat has a chip of wood missing from one side of it. The number "20" can be seen, in faded marker, on the knob end. The bat shows lots of use with grain separation on the back of the barrel.
