1964 Max Alvis Cleveland Indians Game Worn Jersey
Third baseman Max Alvis spent eight of his nine big-league seasons with the Cleveland Indians, and he wore this road gray sleeveless jersey during his rookie campaign of 1962. The all-original model shows lots of use, such as some color bleeding and some of the anchor stitching being loose. There is MacGregor 1962 tagging inside the front tail, as well as MacGregor Size 44 tag in the collar. The "vest" is distinguished by Chief Wahoo on the left breast, with navy blue number 10 stitched on the opposite panel with a fully functional zipper splitting the difference. His number 10 is also sewn on the back. Alvis only had 51 at-bats over 12 games that initial season.
