1964 Muhammad Ali vs. Sonny Liston Programs and Ticket Collection (4)

1964 Muhammad Ali vs. Sonny Liston Programs and Ticket Collection (4)

Cassius Clay and Sonny Liston crossed paths in boxing history once in 1964, when Clay won his first World Heavyweight Title, and again in 1965, when he made his first successful defense of the crown. We offer some rare and historical items from those encounters. First is a PSA/DNA authenticated ticket stub from their first fight on February 25, 1964 (VG). Accompanying this are a scarce official program to the fight, which includes notes of a reporter on the fight(VG-moisture causing crinkling and some separation at the binding), and a souvenir program for the fight (VG-pages present but detached and a hole on inside page). Also included is a scarce official program, known as the "black" program for their second fight on May 25, 1965 (EX+).
